Our Sustainable Practices
Sustainability is not a trend for us — it’s at the core of everything we do.
From the fabrics we choose to where our garments are made, every decision is guided by one simple question: How can we reduce our impact on the planet while creating beautiful clothing people love to wear?
Here is how we are working to make a difference.
Made Locally, Made Responsibly
100% of our clothing is designed and made in Australia.
By producing locally we are able to dramatically reduce shipping emissions while supporting skilled Australian makers who are paid fair wages. Our production house is located just 10 kilometres from our office, which allows us to regularly visit, collaborate closely with our makers, and maintain transparency throughout the production process.
The majority of our fabrics are knitted and dyed in Melbourne, further reducing transportation distances and supporting Australian textile manufacturing.
Local production also means we can produce in smaller, more thoughtful quantities — helping reduce overproduction and waste.
Reducing Waste Wherever Possible
Waste reduction is an ongoing focus across our entire business.
Some of the ways we minimise waste include:
• Using remnant fabrics for limited-edition collections that would otherwise end up in landfill
• Ensuring our Merino wool collection is zero waste, meaning every part of the fabric is used
• Delivering stock on recycled hangers or in cardboard boxes
• Repurposing fabric offcuts into ribbon for gift wrapping
• Designing unbranded gift boxes so they can be reused again and again
Our studio is also continually working towards becoming 100% plastic-free, reducing the use of non-recyclable materials wherever possible.
Thoughtful Packaging & Carbon Conscious Shipping
Packaging is an important part of our sustainability journey.
We ship all orders using Hero Packaging, which is compostable, and partner with Sendle, a carbon-neutral delivery service.
These choices help ensure that the environmental impact of delivering your order is kept as low as possible.
Responsible Natural Fabrics
We prioritise natural and responsibly sourced materials that are kinder to the planet.
Merino Wool
Our Merino wool is certified non-mulesed and sourced responsibly. It is knitted and dyed in Melbourne and is fully biodegradable at the end of its lifespan.
Merino wool is also a renewable fibre, making it one of the most sustainable natural fabrics available.
Bamboo
Our bamboo collections are created using remnant fabrics, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be discarded.
Bamboo is a fast-growing plant that requires minimal resources to grow and is naturally biodegradable, making it a more environmentally conscious fabric choice.
Modal
Modal is another soft, breathable natural fibre we incorporate into our collections for its durability and comfort.
Traceable, Ethical Production
Transparency in our supply chain is essential.
Because our production house is located just 10 km from our office, our founder regularly visits to oversee production and maintain close relationships with the people who make each garment.
Keeping our production in Australia ensures:
• Fair wages for workers
• Ethical working conditions
• Full traceability of our supply chain
• Lower transport emissions
Creating Positive Environmental Impact
Beyond reducing our footprint, we also aim to create a positive impact.
Through our partnership with Greenspark, every purchase contributes to initiatives that support environmental restoration and social impact, including tree planting and plastic recovery projects.
These initiatives allow our community to play a direct role in supporting the planet. See our impact here .
Fashion That Lasts
At its heart, our brand is about creating clothing designed to be worn and loved for years.
We believe the most sustainable garment is the one that stays in your wardrobe the longest.
By focusing on timeless design, high-quality natural fabrics, and local craftsmanship, we aim to move away from fast fashion and towards something far more meaningful.
Fashion made with care.
Fashion made locally.
Fashion made to last.
