What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

100% of our clothing is made in Australia, jobs are provided locally at a fair wage and shipping emissions are reduced for distance. Our production house is only 10 kms from our office. The majority of our fabric is knitted and dyed in Melbourne. Other limited edition fabrics are remnants that would otherwise end up in landfill. We use Hero packaging and Sendle to ship out orders. Our office is always working towards 100% plastic free. We utilise very little plastic or non-recyclable materials in shipping packages, in the studio and in the stockroom. All stock is delivered on recycled hangers or in cardboard boxes. Our ribbon for gift wrapping is left over fabric. Our gift boxes are left unbranded so they can be reused again and again. Our merino wool collection is zero waste so nothing ends as landfill. We joined Greenspark to ensure that KATIE PERRY has a positive impact on our planet and its people.

How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

We use responsibly sourced natural fabrics- Merino Wool, Bamboo and Modal MERINO WOOL Certified non-mulesed merino wool that will biodegrade at the end of their lifespan - Our merino is knitted and dyed in Melbourne and our entire merino collection is zero waste. A renewable fabric.

BAMBOO - This is a limited edition range created from remnant fabrics that would have otherwise ended up in land fill. Bamboo is an eco friendly fabric that is incredibly easy to grow; it matures very quickly, and it can grow in areas that are not suitable for other crops. Its is 100% biodegradable.

How are the service/s you offer environmentally friendly?

We are on a mission to bring MORE to the lives of our customers - More inclusivity in sizing, more awareness of Indigenous artists, more education on sustainability, more support for local production and more of an impact on the world. The label champions sustainability, inclusive of all, from shape to size to age to height; we have had grand-daughters, daughters and mothers all wear the range. We use responsibly sourced natural fabrics like certified non-mulesed merino wool that will biodegrade at the end of their lifespan – nothing about the brand is ‘fast fashion.’ Our merino is knitted and dyed in Melbourne and our entire merino collection is zero waste. Our production is mindful, too. Traceability of our supply chain is a core expectation and absolutely necessary. 100% of our production is made in Australia, jobs are provided locally at a fair wage and shipping emissions are reduced for distance.
