This is my favorite time of year.
Although here in Sydney it's sunny and hot outside and the carols of "dashing through the snow" don't quite work.
Having said that since the end of November my Christmas tree has been up and I am addicted to Diana Krall's Christmas CD.
This is also the time of year that highlights the inner struggle with having your own business. Whilst everyone is on holiday or working minimal amounts I am deciding how much time can be taken off guilt free. There are so many factors to decide on and as this is my first Christmas at my studio I have little knowledge to go off. Will customers be coming to the studio or hitting the department store sales, will I disappoint someone if I am closed, how much time do I need to be refreshed and energized for the new year? Oh the many many questions.
I have already changed my mind numerous times and have finally settled on Jan 2nd as this will be the first paddington markets for 2010.
So I will see if I can go Christmas and boxing day without turning on the computer.
I hope you have a very merry Christmas and that 2010 is all you wish for.
Stay True,
Katie xx
