Yesterday we had the photo shoot for the latest KP range.
I decided I wanted the theme to be travel/holidays and that after the difficult time I had recently had .Katie Perry was in need of a holiday-both the label and the person!! So even though I can’t go away this was the next best thing.

We shot it up in the Northern beaches and the entire week we had had gorgeous weather but as luck would have it the day of the shoot it poured with rain!!
I have been lucky enough to use the same team of extremely talented people on every shoot I have done .Dan on photography, Leah with hair and makeup and Isabelle as the model. It was exciting to this time have Marguerite assisting and also Dragana as another model. It felt like it reflected the expansion of the label.

I was so excited to see the clothes on both the models and perhaps a little nervous aswell.What if they didn’t fit or look right? I had no reason to doubt myself though and each outfit looked fantastic. What was also fun is I had thought I may need leather belts but found the jersey scarves doubled as a great sash around the waist.

Whilst the hair and makeup was being done Dan had a chance to photography single items aswell as the new bracelets and gift packs.

The day went very smoothly and the only issues were whenever the rain seemed to have stopped and we ventured outside, set up the look and it would then start to pour with rain.

After a long fun day I got home and soaked in a bath excited to see the finished product.

Lessons Learnt: Always have a back up plan, its s big day so make sure there is plenty of food available, make sure all models have the correct nail polish, have clips ready and lastly be prepared for a big day.
